[Lu'an Lvwo's 50,000 mt end-of-life battery treatment project enters environmental assessment acceptance phase] Recently, the Lu'an Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau of Anhui Province issued the acceptance notice for the environmental impact report of the "End-of-life Power Battery Recycling Project of Anhui Lvwo Recycling Energy Technology Co., Ltd." The advancement of this project holds significant importance for the development of the new energy industry both locally and nationally. The project is located in the Shucheng Economic Development Zone of Anhui Province, where new production workshops and supporting facilities will be constructed, covering a building area of approximately 125,000 m². Intelligent equipment such as automated crushing and sorting machines, and MVR evaporation crystallization devices will be purchased. Based on information technologies and software such as big data and the internet, advanced technologies like the full resource recovery of black mass from LFP batteries through wet methods and the precise separation of LFP batteries will be adopted to establish a green and intelligent production line for the recycling and material remanufacturing of end-of-life lithium batteries. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual processing capacity of 50,000 mt of end-of-life lithium batteries.
